About Pakistan Halal Authority (Introduction)
Through an Act of the Parliament No. VIII of 2016 of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Pakistan Halal Authority (PHA) was founded under the Ministry of Science and Technology (MoST) with the mandate to encourage trade and commerce in Halal goods and procedures. PHA is in charge of determining the Halal Status of the goods, methods, and services that are constantly maintained and supervised in the domestic market as well as goods that are being imported or exported.
