As per the recent announcement of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police Department, there is an opportunity for the recruitment of Police Constables for the year 2024. According to the announcement, 3,941 positions are up for the application, 2,259 of which are for Police Constables (BPS-07) and 1,682 for Lady Police Constables (BPS-07). 

  • To qualify for these positions, the candidates must have completed the Matriculation.
  • The best age bracket for candidates is 18 to 28 years of age, but there are exceptions for some areas such as the Merged Districts and Minorities of Swat District.
  • Height requirements are 5 feet 7 inches or above for male candidates and 5 feet 1 inch or above for females. 
  • For males, the candidate must have a chest measurement of 33.0 to 34.5 inches. 
  • The quota system has been introduced for the different categories of candidates, and the candidates from the general category, the female candidates, children of police employees and the minorities shall get 75%, 10%, 10% and 5% respectively.
  • People of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the Merged Districts will be able to participate in these positions.
