About Pakistan Army – Mujahid Regiment (Introduction)
The force was founded in 1965 and incorporated into the National Guard upon that body’s creation in 1972. The National Guards Act, 1973, which became a law on August 12, 1973, further governs the Force. The requirements for candidates are outlined in this statute, along with the fact that Force personnel are subject to military law in terms of criminal accusations. It was established as a reserve army to assist and support the regular Army in times of conflict and national catastrophes. Established in 1992, the headquarters are in Bhimber, Azad Kashmir.
