About Ministry of Federal Education (Introduction)
In response to the 18th Amendment, the Ministry of Professional and Technical Training was founded in July 2011. This Ministry now oversees some of the departments and organisations that were formerly under MOLM and MOE. In a ruling dated November 25, 2011, the Supreme Court of Pakistan ruled that the Federal Government cannot shirk its duty to provide for the education of its people in light of the insertion of Article 25-A into the Constitution.
