About NAB National Accountability Bureau (Introduction)
The premier anti-corruption agency in Pakistan is called the National Accountability Bureau. Its task is to eradicate corruption via a comprehensive strategy of education, prevention, and enforcement. The National Accountability Ordinance of 1999 governs its operations. It has seven regional offices, including ones in Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta, Rawalpindi, Multan, and Sukkur. It takes all offences covered by the National Accountability Ordinance into consideration (NAO).
