Under Section 42 of The Companies Act 2017, PPHI Sindh, a non-profit organization, was created (formerly The Companies Ordinance, 1984). Its NPO (Not for Profit Organization) accreditation has also been accepted by the Pakistan Centre of Philanthropists (PCP), a government-approved organization for recognizing Not for Profit Organizations. It is managed by a board of directors made up of seven seasoned businessmen and women with a variety of backgrounds. Additionally, Ex-Officio Board Members who are Secretaries to the Government of Sindh represent it (Health, Finance, Planning & Development, and Population Welfare). As a regional NGO authorized to accept foreign donations, PPHI Sindh is additionally registered with the Economic Affairs Division of the Pakistani government.
