About Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (Introduction)
The regulatory agency in charge of regulating Pakistan’s aviation sector is called the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). It was founded in 1982 and is a department of the Ministry of Aviation. Candidates having qualifications Intermediate (FA, FSC, ICS), Bachelor, Master are eligible to apply for the following vacant posts:
- Assistant Director Air Traffic Control (ATC): You need to have completed Intermediate-level coursework or its equivalent from a reputable education board in order to be eligible for this employment. Additionally, you must possess a current ATPL and have flown in command of either a civil or military air transport aircraft for at least 6000 hours. (above 40,000 Kgs). It is preferred that you have wide-body aircraft flying experience and that you previously held an Examiner (SFE/TRE) position with a commercial airline. You must also have at least 20 years of aviation-related professional experience.
- Director Flight Standards (EG-9): You must have completed at least 16 years of schooling from a HEC-recognized university in one of the following fields to be eligible for this post. BS in Physics or Maths, BS in Computer Science or Aviation Management with FSc or A-Levels (Pre-Engineering), or a Bachelor of Science in Engineering. Additionally, you must have a minimum of 70% overall GPA from a HEC-recognized university and minimum 70% marks in your FSc/A-Levels (Pre-Engineering) or an equivalent.
